Cu ajutorul ghidajului de cablu aerian se pot realiza trasee de șine curbe și drepte de orice lungime. Ghidajul de cablu este poziționat deasupra șinei, astfel încât nu există riscul ca cablul de tracțiune să se îndoaie. Acest ghidaj de cablu este utilizat atunci când sunt necesare instalații curbe sau foarte lungi.
