Foam of the Daze

The interpretation of this famous jazz novel focuses on an actor who moves through twenty sound and image panels. The stage is interactive, accompanied by its digital support, it evolves throughout the performance, a synaesthetic immersion in the poetic and surrealist world of the famous novel by Boris VIAN, published in 1947.

In this performance, the audience is immersed in the mind of Colin, a wealthy young man who loves jazz and love and abhors violence and work. Inflated with love, he lives in a fantasy world in which his strong feelings turn the laws of physics upside down.

For Foam of the Daze, the UNDERGROUND Sugar theater company chose our GOBELIN tulle and the SHOW 2.2 PVC screen, whose projection power and luminance match the lively and interactive style expected by directors Julie Desmet Weaver and Axel Beaumont and set designer Alain Lagarde. On the floor, our black VARIO BRILLIANCE dance floor shines and enhances the physically immersive experience of an almost surreal world of reverie.

E.motion

The story of E.motion brings poetry and technology together to stage an actor equipped with a motion-capture suit who brings digital 3D puppets to life in real time. A beautiful story that combines science with the imagination of a little dreamy girl who, enthralled by the environment, moves in spaces where different visual worlds multiply and overlap.

The biological diversity on earth is a treasure, that is the principle the screenwriter wants to emphasize. A poetic fairy tale in which fantasy, science and ecology merge in a wonderful way. A show that combines surrealism and topical issues in breathtaking settings.

At E.motion, the directors and the stage designer also commented on the selected patience: "TRUMPF 95 straight and curved track systems - weightlessly support the moving screens".
