SOUND CURTAIN STAGE

One area of application for acoustically effective textiles is sound insulation. For example, the Gerriets STAGE sound curtain, which is installed directly behind the main curtain and is lowered after the main curtain is closed during conversions in order to separate the noise from the conversion on stage from the auditorium.

For many years now, we have been developing the 5 or 7-layer sound curtain for this purpose, which reduces these sound emissions by up to 18 dB/A.

Our OFFICE sound curtains have a similar structure and can be used to elegantly separate offices, meeting rooms and other areas using electrically driven rail systems.

Sound insulation values according to expert opinion:

  • 7-ply up to ~ 18 dB.
  • 5-ply up to ~ 16 dB.

Fabric qualities of the curtain in the 5-ply version:

Front: stage velour CLIVIA 600, smooth Inner layers, alternating: 2 x CALMUC, raw white / 1 x special foil, PVC Back: lining satin

Fabric qualities of the curtain in the 7-ply version:

Front: stage velour CLIVIA 600, smooth. inner layers, alternating: 3 x CALMUC, raw white / 2 x special foil, PVC. back: lining satin.

All materials used are flame-retardant in accordance with DIN 4102 B1.
