EXPO sound curtain
Insulation up to 17 dB
With the simple but effective design of the EXPO sound curtain, we offer you an easy way to divide your hall acoustically and visually in a flexible way! In addition to high sound insulation, the system offers excellent absorption. This means that you not only separate your hall into two parts, but also improve the reverberation time and speech intelligibility in the individual parts of the hall.
STAGE sound curtain
Insulation up to 18 dB
The classic among soundproofing curtains! The multi-layer curtain system is often installed in the theatre directly behind the main curtain. In the case of conversions, it is lowered after the main curtain is closed in order to separate the noise on the stage from the auditorium. The 5- or 7-layer sound curtain was developed for this purpose and reduces the sound emission by up to 18 dB.

Absorbent textiles with a high degree of absorption
Acoustic curtain systems made of highly absorbent textiles are an ideal solution for varying the acoustics of a room. With comparatively little effort and cost, large areas can be temporarily made highly absorbent so that the reverberation in the room can be reduced.
This leads to improved speech intelligibility and is particularly recommended for speech events and concerts with electronically amplified music. Highly absorbent textiles are often used in opera houses and concert halls to adapt the room to the respective application.
Sound-permeable materials
The decisive factor for good sound permeability is the lowest possible flow resistance. Sound-permeable materials hardly affect the propagation of sound waves and are therefore ideal as a screen for loudspeaker boxes or other acoustic signals.
Sound-permeable textiles are also used if the acoustics in a room are to be changed as little as possible when curtain systems are installed. Textiles are also often used in acoustics as coverings for absorber systems. The simplest design here is a broadband absorber made of glass or rock wool covered with a textile. The sound-permeable textiles from Gerriets are ideal for this purpose.
Sound-reflecting materials
Reflective surfaces are necessary to optimise the transfer of sound energy from the stage to the audience area. This is why Gerriets developed sound-reflecting textiles decades ago and have since used them successfully in many projects. These materials can be used flexibly to create mobile reflective surfaces for optimum sound distribution.
