The G-SORBER system is the logical extension of our portfolio for the variable modification of room acoustics.
The reverberation time of a room can be adapted to its multifunctional use. Whether chamber music, choir, electro beats or meetings and conferences - with our G-SORBER system, every use can be optimally adjusted acoustically and results in a perfect sound experience.
- Sound absorber class: A (depending on the installation situation).
- Double-layered curtain of a specially developed wide fabric made of permanently flame-retardant Trevira CS fiber with particularly high absorption values.
- Defined ply spacing remains constant over the entire stroke.
- Curtain:
- Seamless design up to 4.40 m wide and 10.00 m high;
- Standard colors: Raw white and black,
- Special colors: on request,
- Special designs: on request. e.g. metallized on one side as sun protection (up to 2.45 m wide), single layer, printable.
- Achieves fire protection class B1 in accordance with DIN 4102-1.
- Standard color protective box DB 703, standard color weighting profile RAL 9005 or RAL 9016, special colors on request.
- Weighting profile retracts completely into protective box.
- Suitable for wall mounting and ceiling installation.
- Protective box can be installed in advance as a placeholder in the building shell during the construction process. Enables smooth installation of the system afterwards.
- Easy maintenance possible from below.
- Simple installation thanks to plug-in cabling.
- Reproducible group movements including intermediate positions possible.
G-SORBER enables a seamless design of widths up to 4.40 m and curtain heights up to 10.00 m.
The system is equipped with a double-layer curtain made of a highly absorbent wide fabric and achieves the highest sound absorption class A depending on the installation situation.
In addition to ceiling installation, installation on wall brackets is also possible, as is installation in suspended ceilings.
The protective box can be installed in advance as a placeholder in the building shell during the construction process. This enables the system to be installed smoothly afterwards.
The weighting profiles retract completely into the protective box.
Special colors for the textile and special paint finishes for the housing are available on request.
Achieves fire protection class B1 in accordance with DIN 4102-1.

Sound absorption
- Measurement in the reverberation room of the Center for Building Physics (ZFB) at the Stuttgart University of Applied Sciences.
- Determination of absorption coefficient α according to DIN EN ISO 354.
- Measurement in four different test setups:
- Variable wall distance of the rear fabric layer,
- lateral enclosure.

Important notes:
- We recommend having the initial installation carried out by Gerriets GmbH specialists.
- All installation work between the power supply, switch cabinet, systems and control points (cable routing, clamping work and plug assignment) is carried out by a qualified electrician (in accordance with DGUV regulation 3 or DIN VDE 0105-100).
- To enable subsequent maintenance and/or modification work, it is essential to ensure that the systems are installed so that they are accessible and can be inspected. Please contact us for details.

- Control unit for pre-programming six user-specific unwind heights as standard, depending on the application.

- Touch panel (9.0" TFT widescreen display; 800 x 480 pixel resolution; dimmable LED backlighting).
- Operation:
- Pre-programming of user-specific unwinding heights via teach-in;
- simple retrieval of customer-specific presets.
- Synchronous and asynchronous group movements possible
