ACOUSTICS IN THE AUDITORIUM

Nowadays, auditoriums are no longer designed solely for their original purpose, but must allow multifunctional use. This applies in particular to the acoustic design of the rooms.

Absorbent curtain systems on extremely quiet rail systems, oversized roller banners, acoustic banners that extend from the floor or inflatable membrane absorbers for the bass range offer an extensive portfolio of acoustic and technical possibilities.

We are proud to be involved in projects such as the Elbphilharmonie concert hall in Hamburg or the renovation of the Sydney Opera House with our systems for variable acoustic measures. Our experience in large-scale projects in the fields of theater and cultural buildings flows into the product design of our product range, so that we can offer you the highest quality manufactured products in all areas.

Customer testimonials on the SCHALLVORHANG EXPO:

"We were looking for an effective and inexpensive way to acoustically separate the event hall for large events. The sound curtain from Gerriets meets our requirements perfectly and the customer is extremely satisfied! As an additional side effect, the reverberation time in the room has been significantly reduced."

Ralf Schafstall // PRODUCTION OFFICE Engineering office for entertainment

"The acoustic separation of individual product groups at Musikmesse 2018 worked extremely well. The sound insulation effect of the three-layer curtains was excellent. This allowed us to plan 'halls within halls' from an acoustic perspective. The volume level dropped noticeably - this increase in business quality was well received by exhibitors and visitors alike."

Michael Biwer // Technical Director prolight+sound // Messe Frankfurt

"The EXPO sound curtain gives us maximum flexibility in the use of our EP Arena! Thanks to the excellent sound insulation of the curtains, we can separate the hall acoustically and visually for different events and thus achieve a significantly higher utilization of the space."
