There are three major advantages over conventional absorber systems:

  • aQflex™ can be used variably:

When inflated, it is effective for absorption and thus ensures a noticeable reduction in reverberation times. When deflated, it is acoustically neutral.

  • aQflex™ is particularly effective in the low-frequency range of 63-1000 Hz.
  • For the first time, the reverberation time can now be adjusted for multifunctional use between classical, unamplified or electronic music.

aQflex™

  • Flexible membrane absorber for fixed installation incl. control unit.
  • The aQflex™ system consists of inflatable membrane absorbers for the bass range, which are connected to a ventilation system

and permanently installed on a TRUMPF 95 rail system. The system has one or more fans, the corresponding supply system and a control unit. This allows the system to be switched on and off at the touch of a button.

aQtube™

  • Flexible membrane absorber for mobile use.
  • In contrast to the aQflex™ system, the aQtubes™ are filled with a mobile blower and are not connected to a permanently installed ventilation system.

The ultra-light absorbers can then be quickly and easily attached to trusses or other suspension points and are ideal for mobile use.

Technical data

  • Can be mounted on wire ropes for temporary installation (aQtube™) or on Gerriets rail systems for permanent installation (aQflex™).
  • For permanent installation preferably with variable ON/OFF system, for temporary installation pre-filled with air.
  • Is CE-certified.
  • Achieves fire protection class DIN EN13501-1 in class B, s1-d0 and the US standard NFPA 701.
  • Is extremely lightweight and therefore particularly suitable for retrofitting to ceiling constructions.
  • For fixed installation, consists of the absorber, the rail for fastening, the air supply system and the control unit.
  • Can be supplied with a wall control panel for ON/OFF control.
  • Has an air supply system with 230 volt connection.
  • Has a power consumption of approx. 50 to 100 watts during the inflation phase.
  • Has a power consumption of approx. 10 watts when inflated.
  • Consists of absorbers that are connected to each other with air supply hoses. It is possible to divide the system into smaller subsystems to make the change in reverberation times even more flexible.
  • Monitored with sensors.
  • Offers the option of automatic remote monitoring in the event of malfunctions.
  • Can be easily retrofitted in existing halls.
  • When switched off, the absorbers have almost no influence on the reverberation time, but can also be moved to the side if necessary.
