BELT-TRACK RAIL SYSTEM

BELT-TRACK is a motorised curtain rail for medium-weight to heavy fabrics, variable laminating systems for screens and backdrop parts

BELT-TRACK
Scale 1:1

The BELT-TRACK RAIL SYSTEM is a motorised curtain rail that has been specially developed for medium to heavy fabrics. It is ideally suited for variable laminating systems for canvases as well as for backdrop parts. The BELT-TRACK system offers a powerful and precise solution for controlling and moving curtains and other textile elements, making it ideal for use in theatres, conference halls and other venues. Thanks to its motorised function, it enables simple and convenient operation that supports flexible and dynamic room design. The robust construction and high performance of the system ensure reliable use even in intensive applications.

Possible applications

  • In architecture - when movements of several curtains are to be realised with unobtrusive drive technology and optimum synchronisation in a compact integration space.
  • On cruise ships and at shows - when form-fit drive technology is required to guarantee absolutely precise and reproducible movement sequences.
  • In the stage and studio area - especially when curtains need to be reliably moved and positioned on long and complex track guides with various curves, including opposing curves and different radii.

Mounting types

  • Direct ceiling mounting.
  • Integration into drywall panelling.
  • Mounting on wall arms.
  • Tubular hook and half-coupler mounting, e.g. on trusses or load bars.

Curtain pull variants

  • Classic, horizontal curtain movements with central overflow (Greek opening).
  • Synchronisation of several curtains moving in the same or opposite direction via one track and only one central BELT DRIVE drive unit (BT-M, BT12, BT30, BT-L).

Control system:

  • Control of motorised drives via the G-FRAME 54 control unit for fixed and variable speed.
  • The slip-free, positive-locking drive via toothed belts offers the possibility of precise and reproducible mpositioning using encoders and corresponding controls.
  • Each drive can be optionally extended with an incremental, absolute value or combined encoder unit. Depending on the required safety level, these electromechanical measuring systems enable freely definable control with reproducible positioning.

Installation variants of the BELT-DRIVES (using the example of a BT30)

The left and right versions of the drive and deflection units are differentiated according to the connection position of the rail on the corresponding unit. The viewing direction is always from the track towards the unit. mAll configurations in the examples are shown from the audience's view of the stage:

Single-runner track system (optionally with cover bracket)

2-track rail system (with overflow)
