Gerriets OFFICE acoustic curtains in the VITRA showroom in London

The partnership between Gerriets and VITRA, which has now lasted almost 15 years, has recently been extended with the fitting out of a further VITRA showroom in the centre of London.

The birth of Gerriets' OFFICE sound curtains was in August 2008, when Gerriets GmbH refurbished its offices at its headquarters in Umkirch and came up with the idea of separating the meeting zones with a sound curtain, which originated as a so-called "Gerriets sound decker" on the opera and theatre stages. This sonic decker avoids the sound of rebuilding between the individual acts in the direction of the audience. This creative and unusual idea developed into a separate business area for Gerriets, with globally networked partners and distribution with the multi-award-winning OFFICE sound curtain.
