From November 3, 2021 to January 30, 2022, the Cité du Design offered its visitors a novel exhibition exploring the fields of science, design and imagination. The exhibition, the result of a collaboration between the Centre national d'études spatiales (CNES) and the Cité du Design, questions the challenges of the conquest of space and offers its visitors the opportunity to relive the epic of space exploration in connection with the developments of design.

In a mix of science and fantasy, the exhibition is embodied in various projects by designers, artists, engineers, architects and authors, revealing the link between two enchanting epics - space exploration and design.

To separate the different exhibition areas, Gerriets made a series of curtains from the decorative fabric MIRAGE, whose metallic look and retro colors perfectly match the theme of the exhibition.
